I'm thinking the rising gas prices could have a positive effect. Who can pay their water bill AND MobilExxonShellTexaco bill?
I'm assuming the question is how can we take perfectly good water, throw it on the area outside of our houses to grow a plant that we cannot eat or use in any meaningful manner? I don't have an answer.
We must kill the grass!! Of course I'm a giant hypocrite. We finally replaced the grass in our park strip with rocks, but much grass to go. Grass is so overrated.
